I am a multidisclinary developer living and loving life in Saint Louis, MO. My interests are varied, but many of them revolve around my love for computers, technology, and the web.
Recently, I've taken a strong liking to JavaScript—both frontend and server-side—and I've started to focus on developing components and tools to help developers build apps and web sites more efficiently.

- I would rather sit on a train for 10 hours than drive for 5. There's always something to do that you can't (or shouldn't) do while you're driving.
- My parents named me after the main characters in James Herriot's All Creatures Great and Small.
- Vim completes me.
- I was on Twitter before @oprah.
- Public transit and the social spaces it creates in urban communities fascinates me.
- I have no intention of ever seeing Tristan and Isolde.
- I stopped following blogs via Google Reader/RSS. Too much noise. Not enough signal.
- The oxford comma? Love it.
- After taking two years of French in high school, the only thing I remember is how to say I'm thirsty: j'ai soif pour une biere.
